The Training Events Calendar provides an overview and specific information
of child care training and professional development events that
are to take place in Calgary and surrounding areas. Events are open
to all child care professionals in day care centres, family child
care homes, nursery schools and out-of-school care programs as
well as parent users of these programs.
The Training Committee of the Child Care Strategic Working Group
in Region 3 developed the Calendar. The Working Group consists
of community child care and family services professionals and
staff of Region 3 Calgary and Area Child and Family Services
and the City of Calgary. The Group aims to enhance the quality
and effectiveness of childcare services in the Region by a
variety of means including the promotion, coordination and
facilitation of current and new training initiatives.
