Licensed Day Care
The Licensed Day Care Program licenses, monitors and enforces standards of care under the Social Care Facilities Licensing Act and Child Care Regulations. It ensures the health, safety and developmental needs of children are met. The program also responds to complaints and provides information to parents on day care facilities, helping them choose the best care for their families.
Eligibility
Anyone is welcome to contact Calgary and Area Child and Family Services for information on assessing and choosing quality childcare, or to report a complaint about regulated child care facilities in the Calgary and Area region.

- Contact the community-based office that offers the Child Care Licensing Program and ask to speak with a Child Care Licensing Officer, or
- Contact the Child Care Information Line at (403) 297-6100.
- Once in contact with the Child Care Licensing Officer or the Child Care Information Line, you can request written information, have your questions answered, or report a complaint.
